Dubbed as the ultimate family getaway, the Mandraki Village was completely renovated in 2007 and has ever since been succesfully established as one of the most iconic affordable luxury, boutique accommodations at the island of Skiathos. The resort is consisted of 8 cheerfully colored houses featuring 38 elegant rooms and suites set in one acre of lush gardens which creates a pleasant atmosphere ideal for family holidays in close proximity to the beach.
In the summer of 2007, Koukounaries was chosen as a filming location for the famous Hollywood film Mamma Mia. The Mamma Mia cast stayed at Mandraki Village, proving it to be one of the best hotels in Skiathos and gaining the opportunity to enjoy Greek hospitality at its finest. The hotel today benefits from an award- winning restaurant and immediate access to the Koukounaries beach.
